VAT Display Options
The Stricct Travel Connector lets you control how VAT information appears on each customer's invoice. This is configured per customer, so different customers can receive different levels of VAT detail.
Three Display Options
The VAT Display Option field on the Customer Card offers three choices:
| Option | What the Customer Sees |
|---|---|
| Hide | No VAT details are shown on the invoice. Only total amounts appear. |
| Show | A VAT summary section is included, showing the total VAT amount grouped by VAT rate. |
| Details | A full VAT breakdown appears with VAT calculated and displayed for each individual invoice line. |
How to Set It
- Open the Customer Card for the customer you want to configure.
- Find the VAT Display Option field in the travel settings section.
- Select Hide, Show, or Details based on the customer's preference.
- Save the card.
The next invoice generated for this customer will use the selected display option.
When to Use Each Option
- Hide works well for customers who handle VAT internally and prefer clean, simple invoices.
- Show is the most common choice, giving a clear VAT summary without cluttering individual lines.
- Details is useful for customers whose accounting departments need line-by-line VAT information for reconciliation.
